WHY I LIVE THE QUARTERLY LIFE

When we first launched the quarterly diary there was a mixed response. A lot of people couldn’t get their head around it, it was a departure from the norm and didn't click right away. But then there were those who just got it from the get-go; for them, it was the perfect tool for managing their time, no questions asked!

From a design and product angle, going quarterly meant we could pack in loads more—chock-full of tools and tips for wrangling both work and life stuff. It was the size of your typical yearly diary but gave you control over 90 days instead. Plus, we could tweak and update it whenever needed; no waiting around for a whole year!

But the real magic happens when you see it as a lifestyle choice, not just a product. Here are the top five reasons why I'm all about that quarterly life:

  1. Reflect and Refresh: Managing your time in quarterly chunks forces you to regularly reflect, reset, and reboot - a philosophy I've always lived by in business. It's like getting a fresh start every few months instead of waiting for those (usually useless) New Year's resolutions.

  2. Treat Yourself: Let's be real, who doesn't love a good gift to self? A snazzy new design is the perfect reward for all your hard work - a little something to feel proud of.

  3. Conscious Carry-Over: Quarterly planning makes you really think about what's still on your plate and whether you want to keep it there. It's like giving your to-do list a spring clean - essential for a clutter-free mind.

  4. Stay Present: Instead of always looking way into the future, focusing on just three months at a time helps you make the most of every day. It's like hitting the slow-mo button on time and making those 90 days count.

  5. Live Deliberately: Embracing the quarterly approach makes you more mindful and intentional in how you plan and make decisions. That kind of consciousness isn't just good for business; it's good for life.

So even though we've decided to stop producing the printed quarterly diaries, I couldn’t live without the quarterly system we've built. Going PDF digital keeps that same familiar vibe of pen and paper, but saves paper 🌱 and moula 💵 - sounds like a win-win to me.

If you haven't given quarterly living a shot yet, what are you waiting for?
